RomSort is a portable utility designed sort a directory of files into alphabetical sub-directories.
It was designed to assist in the organization and browsing of large ROM collections, particularly on flash carts. By setting a maximum number of sub-directories RomSort will intelligently coalesce letters together.
RomSort will be useful when you possess a vast ROM collection that requires viewing on older consoles that generally can only display a limited number on screen making organization difficult at best. It will sort ROMs into manageable subdirectories quickly and will show the available files from the left-hand panel. It will also provide a preview of any results from the right-hand side. It also allows you to specify the maximum number of directories. RomSort supports numerous file types allowing it to be used for other applications.
